On 29th June 2023 or 10 Zulhijjah 1444H, the Yayasan EMKAY donated a hearse to the Damansara Perdana Mosque in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The donation was made by the heirs of the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the EMKAY Foundation in a brief ceremony.
The handover ceremony took place at the Damansara Perdana Mosque and was attended by family members, members of the mosque committee, as well as management officers of MK Land Holdings Bhd. During the ceremony, Puan Hjh Felina Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal, representing the Yayasan EMKAY, expressed her hope that the mosque would maintain and manage the assets perfectly so that it would provide convenience to the entire congregation of residents in the area.
The Imam, Ustaz Amir Fauzan Hazim Adnan informed that the van will benefit four (4) surau in the same parish, namely Surau Flora Damansara, Surau MSQ, Surau Perdana, and Surau Mutiara Damansara. They expressed their gratitude for the donation, which they believe will benefit tens of thousands of residents around Damansara Perdana by making funeral management easier.
