ABOUT US

Yayasan EMKAY was established on the 12th of January 2001 by its founders, the late YBhg Tan Sri Datuk (Dr.) Haji Mustapha Kamal Bin

Haji Abu Bakar and his wife, as a means for continuing their philanthropic work to help people in need, especially those living on the fringes of developed areas.

Our Mission

Our mission is to manage funds and/or contributions from individuals or organisations either in the form of donations, community service or medical assistance to deserving members of the society.

 

To carry out charitable work to improve the quality of life for those in need, through faith and service and encourages the growth of a more compassionate and responsible society.

 

Guided by the pillars, Yayasan EMKAY to date has contributed a total of RM62 million since its inception.

Our Vision

Our vision is to contribute towards the improvement or alleviating the standards of living of rural and the less fortunate members of the community, by providing opportunities in the areas of education, health, religion, and general welfare.

Our Logo

Yayasan EMKAY logo was created based on the elements of unity, harmony and comradeship which are represented by the hand holding, standing human form, a symbol of mutual support and mutual need for each other.

Colours in the logo:

Symbolizes unity in achieving goals harmoniously

Symbolizes the unity of the people of Islam and society baed on the belief and sincerity to Allah s.w.t.

Symbolizes firmness, courage and strength

What We Do

The foundation is centered around four core pillars: education, health, religion, and social welfare. These pillars represent the key areas in which the foundation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities.

EDUCATION

The foundation recognises the importance of education as a means to empower individuals and provide them with opportunities for a better future. It may support initiatives such as scholarships, educational infrastructure development, vocational training programs, and educational resources.

RELIGION

Recognizing the significance of faith and spirituality. This effort is mainly focused on the areas of our property development.

HEALTH

The foundation prioritises the well-being and healthcare needs of individuals. It may contribute to medical facilities, healthcare programs, access to healthcare services, awareness campaigns, and initiatives promoting preventive healthcare. We have established four dialysis centres for the needy.

SOCIAL WELFARE

The foundation aims to address societal challenges and promote social welfare. This may involve supporting initiatives related to poverty alleviation, providing assistance to underprivileged individuals and families, promoting gender equality, fostering inclusion, and empowering marginalized communities.
